The priority objective of El.Gad s.r.l. is to provide products and services that over time prove to be completely satisfactory for customers and to impose its image on the market as synonymous with efficiency, reliability and quality.
We have been operating since 1989 in the production of electronic boards, wiring and assembly of electrical and electronic equipment.
We create high-tech prototypes and medium/small quantity productions, paying close attention to the quality of the service and speed of supply.
In addition to standard services, we also offer consultancy and co-design activities, offering ourselves as the ideal partner for the development of your products.
El.Gad s.r.l.Operating since 1989 in the production of electronic boards, Elgad has obtained, right from the beginning, the recognition of providing products and services that over time prove to be completely satisfactory for customers and of imposing its image on the market as synonymous with efficiency, reliability and quality. This aim was achieved through an effort of continuous improvement both of the personnel, of all levels and levels, of the organization and of the production processes, in order to simultaneously obtain the appreciation of the Customers and the profitability of the Company. The decades-long adoption of the Quality Management Manual, in compliance with all UNI-EN-ISO 9001:2008 standards, is the main tool with which the Company's members are involved. Our responsibility is to promote, develop and maintain a total quality system and company levels over time. The constant objective is the production investment made with the acquisition of cutting-edge 4.0 operating machines. The final investment in high quality is based on the acquisition of a machine according to AOI's vision. We also planned, during 2024, to obtain UNI-EN-ISO 14001 Certification in order to implement and improve our management system environmental.
We have our customers in our heartsOur primary objective is to provide products and services that over time prove to be completely satisfactory for customers and to impose our image on the market as synonymous with efficiency, reliability and quality.
The company offers a complete subcontracting service in the field of electronic assemblies starting from prototypes up to small to medium productions using advanced technologies and paying particular attention to the continuous developments of the electronic sector. We offer a service that goes from the acquisition of materials that make up your board, to assembly in both SMT and PTH technology, to functional testing, assembly and conformal coating up to shipping directly to the end customer. Here are our main services in detail.
The raw materials are mainly supplied by official distributors and with the use of brokers selected over the years only for obsolete or difficult to find components. Everything is managed by an MRP system which provides us with all the information relating to prices and needs of raw materials. Upon entry into the company, the raw materials are labeled and located in 3 distinct areas of the warehouse: smt pth and customers.
Upstream of the SMT (Surface mount technology) production process we find three automatic optical centering screen printers, two DEK Horizon and one DESEN CLASSIC 1008. The core of our production is conceived by three operational lines: one line composed of a high-speed JUKI RS-1R modular P&P with the addition of a JUKI KE 2060 module, another line of a JUKI FX-1 with the addition of a module JUKI KE 2060, and finally from an Assemblèon MG5 with an Assemblèon Topaz. The SMT process continues with two reflow ovens: one JUKI JT RS-600 II forced air convection oven and one IBL BLC509 vapor phase. Optical inspections are carried out using an AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) TR7700QH SII 3D machine and/or using four microscopes, a Vision Engineering EVOCAM Electronic Viewer, a Leitz wetzlar (Leica) with 10X magnification, a Labtek M700Z with 31X magnification and a Vision lynx Dyneascope with magnification up to 40X and prism. The department has a production capacity of up to 80,000 components per hour and is able to mount components from 0201 to 100mm x 45mm on boards with minimum dimensions of 52mm x 50mm x 0.2mm and maximum dimensions of 239mm x 390mm x 3.5mm. In the production process we are able to work with reflow and polymerization technologies.
(Automatic Optical Inspection)
We are also offering a further level of inspection using the TR7700QH SII 3D AOI system which gives us the possibility of carrying out a wider coverage of defects in boards produced in SMT.
With a view to always guaranteeing maximum reliability in every single processing phase, thanks to important investments in resources in the assembly and testing sectors, we are able to offer an inspection service using X-ray technology. To do this, we use a Vertex II V130 which allows the verification of the correct positioning and soldering of CSP, BGA, uBGA components.
The assembly of traditional components is preformed with five STRECKFUSS preforming machines and positioned in two benches for the "carousel" awaiting welding. It is carried out with an IEMME Argo wave soldering iron with Lead-Free SAC307 tin. In the same department, finishing or manual soldering is also carried out in 4 stations for hand soldering and revision equipped with Weller PU81 soldering irons and PACE ST65 desoldering irons, the cleaning and packaging of the boards for shipping is also carried out.
If the customer requests it, we also carry out functional testing of the cards. Upon precise customer specifications, we are able to complete the product by creating assemblies of more or less complex systems, composed of electronic, mechanical parts and wiring. Finally, if requested, we manage the shipment directly to the end customer.
Conformal coating, or "tropicalization", is a process that consists of covering electronic boards with a light film of protective resin (in the order of a few microns), which allows the board to be protected from the external environment, from corrosion of the contacts , prevents short circuits and reduces surface ion migration. It can be applied by brush, dip or spray. Since 2013 we have automated the process with the purchase of ALPHA CU4 from AEB Robotics.
